Disapproving AI Bunny

I've been playing with AI generated images. One thing I've been doing is exploring "models." Models are trained on different image sets. I've been thinking of trying to build my own models using only public domain images as a way to address one of the ethical issues with models trained on images not licensed for that purpose. As part of this exploration I've been using the reference phrase "disapproving bunny" and the seed of 8675309 on different models to see how different the results can be. The results have been interesting.

Before settling on the shorter "disapproving bunny" as my reference phrase I generated a few with the phrase, "Reference image of a disapproving bunny created by different models." The results were a bit more varied.

Home Made Candles

What do I do when home during a power outage, using candles for light? Make more candles of course. I used to make candles when I was younger so this was familiar territory. I used some paraffin lying around in the basement, a lump of beeswax and the melted bits form the candles I'd been burning. You can also use crayon fragments for color, but I didn't do that this time around.

Knitting for Psychopaths

I have to admit, most of these projects seem rather gruesome. I can only imagine the reaction would get working on one of these on the train.

For some reason, the knit monkey rowing on a giant banana seems out of place.

Avoid Accidents

I took this photo near work. It's a WWII era sign that's on one of the buildings.

I find it amusing and thought I'd share.

Net Send Spam Art

On December 31, 2002, our server was hit with 20 copies of a the new wave of SPAM messages sent via the Windows Net Send command. I took a screen shot for the heck of it, and suddenly decided that it was a great source of artistic expression.

The images below were created with the Windows port of the GIMP, and the thumbnail page was created by Irfanview. The SPAM is provided via the Windows Messaging Service.

Thus I present my example of SPAM based Art.
