The Femitheist

Allow me to introduce you to the single most evil, vile and hate filled monster I've ever spoken to. I do not say this lightly. My Freshman year roommate sincerely advocated raping women who didn't "put out." I am an old friend of the Cornswalled family. I've had coworkers who openly discussed how they wished Hitler had finished the job, and kicked their racism up a notch when they found out I was dating a Jewish woman. I know people who honestly believe Haiti deserved the be devastated for allegedly "selling the country to the Devil" 200 years ago.

All of these people pale in comparison to The Femitheist. I know, she may be a troll, but she presents herself as a deeply damaged woman who is sincere in her beliefs. If she's not acting mad to get attention, then I think it's only a matter of time before she kills someone. I'm not sure which is more horrifying, the scope of what she desires, or the fact that she claims that what she intends isn't REALLY violence or evil, because she thinks it's for the greater good, and because she doesn't consider her intended victims to be fully human.

Krista Heflin, The Femitheist, wants to castrate or murder all men, murder all women who object, and execute everyone who is developmentally disabled. But don't take my word for it, check out how The Femitheist introduces herself to the SGU Forum.

Her current youtube channel:  F.C. Season 1

Her current blog: The New Era of Feminism

This is her second incarnation. I first heard of her a few months back when she had a different blog. Her youtube videos kept getting pulled because she was advocating the murder of a few Billion people. Even Youtube has limits. Before her brief disappearance, she posted a picture of her infant daughter with the word "Bitch" scrawled across the child's forehead. At one point the rumor started that she fatally shot herself.

I exchanged a number of e-mails and PMs with her during her peak. It was surreal to have a civil conversation with someone about how they wanted me dead. Around the time she deleted her old blog, she was claiming to have been physically assaulted and that child services had been called to investigate her. If the rumors circulating about her are to be believed, she was her high school valedictorian, got pregnant in high school and may or may not be pursuing a degree in education. The circumstance of her daughter's conception may shed quite a bit of light on her current misandry. The concept of this woman teaching children of any age for a living is, frankly, terrifying, even if she is a troll.

Here are some choice quotes from the deleted blog

Her old blog is, sadly, not in the Wayback Machine.

Responding to the "Rape is equality" moron

This was also written about by PZ Myersin the entry You can tell where this is going, but you can hardly believe it when it gets there

Below is my open letter response to the nit-wit who tried to claim that rape was a man's "right."

Eivind,

Women aren't refusing to sleep with you because you don't have enough money.

They're refusing to sleep with you because you're a loser. I'm not saying that as a joke or an insult, but as a simple statement of fact. Feminist bashing, like racism, is a refuge for sad, pathetic people who perceive themselves as failures and need to blame someone. People like Rush Limbaugh hop on the anti-feminist bandwagon because they know banging that drum will draw in the sad, pathetic losers desperate to blame someone other than themselves for their shortcomings.

I don't know what personal truncations drove you to the point where you actually considered rape to be "OK" but feminists have nothing to do with it. You're just using them as a scapegoat to defer responsibility for your own condition.

Man up and grow a pair. Take some personal responsibility for your condition instead of blaming a straw man vision of feminism.

MSNBC's Rachel Maddow - Gov. Huckabee's foot-in-mouth on Gay issues - ex...

I've gotta say, Mike here is looking more and more like a closet case to me. The fact that he's compared homosexuality to drug use makes me suspect he's suppressing some "jonesing" of his own.

It's only a matter of time before he's outed. You don't equate homosexuality with drug addition unless you yourself are fighting some serious man-love urges. The quivering, butterfly-stomached way he touches the issue of homosexuality screams "denial" with a salivating, unctuous urgency of the kind only heard from within the confines of a Caligula themed, San Francisco bath house.

That's my suspicion anyway.

Copypasta about weights and measures

Does the statement, “We’ve always done it that way” ring any bells?
The US standard railroad gauge (distance between the rails) is 4 feet, 8.5 inches. That’s an odd number, don’t you think? Why was that ‘gauge’ used?

Because that’s the way they built railroads in England, and English expatriates built the US Railroads. Why did the English build them like that?

Because the first rail lines were built by the same people who built the pre-railroad tramways, and that’s the ‘gauge’ they used. Why did “they” use that gauge then?

Because the people who built the tramways used the same jigs and tools that they used for building wagons, which used that wheel spacing. Okay!

Why did the wagons have that particular odd wheel spacing?

Well, if they tried to use any other spacing, the wagon wheels would break on some of the old, long distance roads in England, because that’s the spacing of the wheel ruts. So who built those old rutted roads?

Imperial Rome built the first long distance roads in Europe (and England) for their legions. The roads have been used ever since. And the ruts in the roads?

Roman war chariots formed the initial ruts, which everyone else had to match for fear of destroying their wagon wheels. Since the chariots were made for Imperial Rome, they were all alike in the matter of wheel spacing. The United States standard railroad gauge of 4 feet, 8.5 inches is derived from the original specifications for an Imperial Roman war chariot.

And bureaucracies live forever. So the next time you are handed a specification and wonder what horse’s ass came up with it, you may be exactly right, because the Imperial Roman war chariots were made just wide enough to accommodate the back ends of two war horses.

Now the twist to the story…

When you see a Space Shuttle sitting on its launch pad, there are two big booster rockets attached to the sides of the main fuel tank. These are solid rocket boosters, or SRBs. The SRBs are made by Thiokol at their factory in Utah. The engineers who designed the SRBs would have preferred to make them a bit fatter, but the SRBs had to be shipped by train from the factory to the launch site. The railroad line from the factory happens to run through a tunnel in the mountains. The SRBs had to fit through that tunnel. The tunnel is slightly wider than the railroad track, and the railroad track, as you now know, is about as wide as two horses’ behinds.

So, a major Space Shuttle design feature of what is arguably the world’s most advanced transportation system was determined over two thousand years ago by the width of a horse’s ass.

Ten Reasons Gay Marriage is Un-American (Satire)

I've seen this floating around the Internet without attribution. Enjoy

1. Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.

2. Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

3. Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

4. Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

5. Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britany Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

6. Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.

7. Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

8. Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

9. Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10. Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

Integrity Balls, where Oedipus Rex meets Fundamentalist Christians

Chastity Balls are all over the news these days. People are abuzz with both pro and con commentary on these ceremonies designed to emulate a wedding ceremony, so a Father can pledge to keep his daughter a virgin while she pledges to keep her legs locked at the knees.

I'll admit my post about Purity Balls was a bit disorganized, largely because I was left somewhat speechless by the perverse nature of the balls. Not only were women being treated as property to be safeguarded by their father, but this was being done in a manner that might as well be a case study for the Electra complex.

I'm a bit more level relaxed now, as I've seen that in it's own way, sexual equality has peeked into Fundamentalist Christian households and introduced the Integrity Ball.

"The sons get to take their mothers out for an evening of fine dining and fun, while reinforcing that young men should remain abstinent until marriage. The evening was coat and tie minimum, so it wasn't slouchy at all, but was very classy."
-- Dakota Voice Blog

You'll notice right off the bat a big difference between Purity Balls and Integrity Balls. In all the "Pro Ball" write ups I've seen, the Father was the one who took his Daughter to the ball. Here, the Son is taking his Mother out.

Why isn't the Mother taking the Son out to the ball?

The Blog cbeinternational goes into more detail about the difference between the two balls, but I'll summarize it as follows:

The Mothers never make a pledge. The boys however pledge to remain "pure". The Dakota Voice article on Integrity Balls explains the logic boys are supposed to use:
“So you’re dating someone else’s future wife,” he told them. He also told them that someone else may be dating their future wife.

Notice the difference? If you've done any reading about Purity Balls, you'll notice how it was all about protecting the virtue of the Daughter. Integrity balls however are all about not messing with someone else's future wife.

Despite the effort to create a comparable "ceremony" the sexual bias is only strengthened by Integrity Balls. The women are property. Women aren't supposed to have sex because they're their Father's Property and then their Husband's Property. men aren't supposed to have extramarital sex because in doing so they would be messing with someone else's property.

All of these efforts to preserve a child's virginity ignore a simple fact:

Teens who pledge to remain virgins until marriage are more likely to take chances with other kinds of sex that increase the risk of sexually transmitted diseases, a study of 12,000 adolescents suggests.

"Purity Balls", AKA "Chasity Balls"

Abstinence only Sex Education increases teen pregnancy rates. This is according to the American Academy of Paediatrics (AAP). Providing contraception information results in reduced teen pregnancy rates. Despite the research proving this, many Conservatives insist in believing the opposite, and insisting upon fear mongering abstinence only sex education.

Now, conservatives have created "Chastity Balls" also known as "Purity Balls." The general idea is to have the father vow to protect his daughter's chastity in a wedding like ceremony, where the daughter similarly vows to remain a virgin until her marriage. They dress up, he wears a tux, there's a ring exchange, he feeds her wedding cake and the ceremony goes on to make the whole event resemble "Marrying your father" as much as possible.

Even nine year olds are participating.

There's even an Oedipal version for sons and mothers called an "Integrity Ball" that involves "telling boys to abstain from sex is so they won't defile someone's "future wife.""

The pledge read by the fathers:
I, [daughter's name]'s father, choose before God to cover my daughter as her authority and protection in the area of purity. I will be pure in my own life as a man, husband and father. I will be a man of integrity and accountability as I lead, guide and pray over my daughter and as the high priest in my home. This covering will be used by God to influence generations to come.

I guess seeing women as property is perfectly natural to many even in this day and age.

Glamor Magazine has an exhaustive article on Purity Balls.

Bill Maher on the practice:

As pointed out in the Glamor Magazine article, kids who take "purity pledges" are more likely to have unprotected sex and get pregnant out of wedlock. Sadly, Conservatives choose to pretend this can't be the case.

Below is a promotional video advertising one of the firms who put on Purity Balls. Watch it, and decide for yourself.

"No, I be concubining,"

The Cincinnati Enquirer tells the story of Ricky Lackey. A man expecting six children by six different women "expected to deliver in August, September and October."
Ricky Lackey has six children on the way.

Don't call them sextuplets - they're each with different women.

When Hamilton County Common Pleas Judge Melba Marsh asked Lackey during sentencing Friday on a charge of attempted theft how many children he had, the 25-year-old said, "None, but I have six on the way."

A stunned Marsh tried to clarify. "Are you marrying a woman with six children?" she asked.

"No, I be concubining," he said.

Prosecutors said Lackey is the expectant father of six children with six different women. The women all are expected to deliver in August, September and October.

Lackey's lawyer, Stephen Wenke, stopped his client from saying more.

Marsh said she wasn't sure how to respond, so she let the issue drop since it wasn't relevant to the proceedings.

Lackey, a music producer who told Marsh he was on the cusp of a $2 million deal that would net him $300,000 upfront, was convicted Friday on a reduced charge of attempted theft.

Prosecutors say the Avondale man defrauded U.S. Bank out of $3,975 by depositing empty envelopes into ATM machines, claiming they contained cash, and depositing bad checks before withdrawing cash on the falsely inflated balances.

Lackey has repaid the money, according to court records.

Marsh ordered no other sentence, because restitution had been paid.

As Lackey left the courtroom, a group of teenage girls there for another case appeared to know Lackey.

"Oh, there's Ricky Lackey!" one swooned.

Lackey shrugged the attention off with one word and a wave of his hand.

"Fans," he said.

Abstinence message goes beyond teens

Sharon Jayson reports in USA TODAY:

The federal government's "no sex without marriage" message isn't just for kids anymore.

Now the government is targeting unmarried adults up to age 29 as part of its abstinence-only programs, which include millions of dollars in federal money that will be available to the states under revised federal grant guidelines for 2007.

You've GOT to be kidding me.

Abstinence only programs are a case of wishful thinking on the part of it's proponents.

According to a 2005 American Academy of Pediatrics study, Abstinence only programs cause an increase in teen pregnancy. Sex ed programs that include contraception information, accurate STD information and Abstinence caused the greatest reduction in teen pregnancy.

National Right to Life, without any research to support the claim, insists that providing any sex education other than Abstinence only causes teen pregnancy rates to skyrocket.

Here is an article about that American Academy of Pediatrics study:

Full Text:COPYRIGHT 2005 American Academy of Family Physicians

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recently published a clinical report on the state of adolescent pregnancy in the United States. "Adolescent Pregnancy: Current Trends and Issues" can be found in the July 2005 issue of Pediatrics and is available online at http://www.pediatrics.org.

Recently the percentage of adolescents who are sexually active has decreased; however, more than 45 percent of current high school-aged females and 48 percent of high school-aged males report having had sexual intercourse. The average age at first intercourse is 16 years for males and 17 years for females.

According to the report, use of contraception by adolescents is increasing, but 50 percent of all adolescent pregnancies occur within six months of first intercourse. In 2003, almost one half of sexually active adolescents reported not using a condom the last time they had intercourse. many adolescents who reported using prescription contraceptives indicated a gap of at least one year between the time that they first had intercourse and the time that they visited a physician to seek a prescription contraceptive.

The United States has the highest adolescent birth rate among industrialized nations. Nearly 900,000 U.S. teenagers become pregnant each year, according to the report, and four in 10 women have been pregnant at least once before 20 years of age. Approximately 51 percent of adolescent pregnancies end in live birth, 35 percent in induced abortion, and 14 percent in miscarriage or stillbirth. Twenty-five percent of adolescent births are not first births, and the risk for pregnancy increases after an adolescent has had one infant.

Significantly more adolescents who live in poverty become pregnant than do those from higher-income families. The total percentage of adolescents who live in low-income families is 38 percent; however, 83 percent of adolescents who give birth and 61 percent who have abortions are from low-income families. Similar to adolescent mothers, adolescent fathers are more likely than their peers to come from low-income families, have poor academic performance, drop out of school, and have decreased income potential.

The report indicates that in 2001, almost 79 percent of all adolescents who gave birth were unmarried, a statistic that has been rising since 1971. more than 90 percent of pregnant patients 15 to 19 years of age said their pregnancies were unplanned.

Pregnant patients younger than 17 years have a higher risk of medical complications than do older patients. Compared with adults, adolescents give birth to twice as many low birth weight infants, and the neonatal mortality rate is three times higher. Although still low, the maternal mortality rate is twice as high for adolescents. Adolescent pregnancy is associated with poor maternal weight gain, prematurity, pregnancy-induced hypertension, anemia, sexually transmitted diseases, substance abuse, and poor nutritional intake. Adolescent pregnancy also causes psychosocial problems such as interruption of school, persistent poverty, limited vocational
opportunities, separation from the child's father, divorce, and repeat pregnancy. The children of adolescent mothers are at higher risk for developmental delays, academic difficulties, behavior disorders, substance abuse, early sexual activity, depression, and adolescent pregnancy.

The AAP reports that the most successful programs to prevent adolescent pregnancy include the promotion of abstinence along with information on and dissemination of contraception, sexuality education, school-completion programs, and job training. Parents, schools, religious institutions, physicians, social and government agencies, and adolescents themselves all should be a part of successful prevention programs. Research shows that discussion of contraception does not increase sexual activity, and programs that promote abstinence along with contraception do not decrease contraceptive use.

Dr Ruth was a sniper..?

The diminutive Dr. Ruth, whose family was killed in the Holocaust, was trained as a sniper in the Israeli Military.

"When I was in my routine training for the Israeli army as a teenager, they discovered completely by chance that I was a lethal sniper. I could hit the target smack in the center further away than anyone could believe. Not just that, even though I was tiny and not even much of an athlete, I was incredibly accurate throwing hand grenades too. Even today I can load a Sten automatic rifle in a single minute, blindfolded." -Dr. Ruth

Sex, cars and fast women who work for cash

Brazilian brothels gagged by sensitive punters in censorship orgy. Latin lovers find censorship hard to swallow, say ads "blown out of proportion."

Brothel ads too racy for Grand Prix Thu Sep 22, 2005 8:31 AM ET165

SAO PAULO, Brazil (Reuters) - Two high-class brothels hoping to attract racers and pit crews in Sunday's Brazilian Grand Prix were shut down after they posted sexually explicit advertisements on 30 billboards around South America's largest city.

Sao Paulo Mayor Jose Serra demanded the billboards be covered with blank white sheets and his code enforcement officers sealed doorways to the brothels, Romanza and Cafe Millenium, with concrete blocks.

The billboards showed a photo made to look like a scantily clad woman was performing fellatio on a man in a racing uniform. Captions on the advertisements said in both Portuguese and English: "Do you know what happens after the (winners') podium?."

Another advertisement in Sao Paulo targeting race car drivers reads "emotion in every curve" alongside a semi-nude woman, the newspaper Folha de Sao Paulo reported.

Every year, brothel owners put up dozens of billboards targeting rich customers who visit Sao Paulo for the Formula One race.

But since taking office in January, the tough-talking Serra has tried to clean up the sleazy side of Sao Paulo, including shutting down cheap downtown hotels frequented by crack addicts.

Prostitution in Brazil is legal, but pimping is not. To avoid hassles from police, many brothel owners say they run "relaxation clubs for men" and that sexual services are not provided in exchange for money.

Study Links Homophobia with Homosexual Arousal

New Study Links Homophobia with Homosexual Arousal

And all this time I've been saying the study was done at the U of M. My bad.

New Study Links Homophobia with Homosexual Arousal

August 1996 Press Release

WASHINGTON -- Psychoanalytic theory holds that homophobia -- the fear, anxiety, anger, discomfort and aversion that some ostensibly heterosexual people hold for gay individuals -- is the result of repressed homosexual urges that the person is either unaware of or denies. A study appearing in the August 1996 issue of the Journal of Abnormal Psychology, published by the American Psychological Association (APA), provides new empirical evidence that is consistent with that theory.

Researchers at the University of Georgia conducted an experiment involving 35 homophobic men and 29 nonhomophobic men as measured by the Index of Homophobia scale. All the participants selected for the study described themselves as exclusively heterosexual both in terms of sexual arousal and experience.

Each participant was exposed to sexually explicit erotic stimuli consisting of heterosexual, male homosexual and lesbian videotapes (but not necessarily in that order). Their degree of sexual arousal was measured by penile plethysmography, which precisely measures and records male tumescence.

Men in both groups were aroused by about the same degree by the video depicting heterosexual sexual behavior and by the video showing two women engaged in sexual behavior. The only significant difference in degree of arousal between the two groups occurred when they viewed the video depicting male homosexual sex: 'The homophobic men showed a significant increase in penile circumference to the male homosexual video, but the control [nonhomophobic] men did not.'

Broken down further, the measurements showed that while 66% of the nonhomophobic group showed no significant tumescence while watching the male homosexual video, only 20% of the homophobic men showed little or no evidence of arousal. Similarly, while 24% of the nonhomophobic men showed definite tumescence while watching the homosexual video, 54% of the homophobic men did.

When asked to give their own subjective assessment of the degree to which they were aroused by watching each of the three videos, men in both groups gave answers that tracked fairly closely with the results of the objective physiological measurement, with one exception: the homophobic men significantly underestimated their degree of arousal by the male homosexual video.

Do these findings mean, then, that homophobia in men is a reaction to repressed homosexual urges, as psychoanalysis theorizes? While their findings are consistent with that theory, the authors note that there is another, competing theoretical explanation: anxiety. According to this theory, viewing the male homosexual videotape may have caused negative emotions (such as anxiety) in the homophobic men, but not in the nonhomophobic men. As the authors note, 'anxiety has been shown to enhance arousal and erection,' and so it is also possible that 'a response to homosexual stimuli [in these men] is a function of the threat condition rather than sexual arousal per se. These competing notions can and should be evaluated by future research.'

Article: 'Is Homophobia Associated With Homosexual Arousal?' by Henry E. Adams, Ph.D., Lester W. Wright, Jr., Ph.D. and Bethany A. Lohr, University of Georgia, in Journal of Abnormal Psychology, Vol. 105, No. 3, pp 440-445.

The American Psychological Association (APA), in Washington,DC, is the largest scientific and professional organization representing psychology in the United States and is the world's largest association of psychologists. APA's membership includes more than 142,000 researchers, educators, clinicians, consultants and students. Through its divisions in 49 subfields of psychology and affiliations with 58 state and Canadian provincial associations, APA works to advance psychology as a science, as a profession and as a means of promoting human welfare.

Oh Good Grief

News

The county that was the site of the Scopes ``Monkey Trial'' over the teaching of evolution is asking lawmakers to amend state law so the county can charge homosexuals with crimes against nature.

The Rhea County commissioners approved the request 8-0 Tuesday.

I have to say I'm glad this is only happening at the county level. I think I'd have a fit if it was an entire state that was trying to pull this stunt.

"Crimes against nature."

I can't wait to see the first trial. Hopefully, all they'd have to do is show a video of two male monkeys going at it to demonstrate that it's not a "Crime against nature."

It's things like this that erode my faith in the human race and it's ability to grow and mature. There will always be segments of the society that want to cling to old ideas. I hear the "Flat Earth" society is still quite active.

Friends don't let friends wank and drive

OK, this is just silly.

I've had friends who masturbated while driving. (All female, never met a guy who admitted to doing such a thing while driving.)

I've had friends who changed their cloths while driving.

I even had one friend who changed her kid's diaper while driving and talking on a cell phone.

I've eaten while driving, and talked on my cell phone wile driving (Generally using the hands free set.)

But watching a porno while behind the wheel???

That's just plain silly.

Driver pulled over for watching porn

ALBANY, New York (Reuters) --Andre Gainey found out the hard way that in the state of New York it's illegal to drive while watching porn.

Police said the 35-year old man from Clifton Park, New York, was watching a adult movie called "Chocolate Foam" on Tuesday night while driving his Mercedes Benz in the town of Schenectady when he was spotted by an officer at a stop light.

Police spokesman Pete Frizoni said detectives pulled Gainey over when they saw the movie playing on screens embedded in the car's headrests. When they confronted him, they saw another screen in the passenger-side visor was facing Gainey, allowing him to watch the movie while driving.

The case is thought to be the first of its kind in New York, said Joe Pichi, a spokesman for the for the state's Department of Motor Vehicles.

"Our biggest problem is illegal cell phone use while driving," Pichi said. "Drivers should be driving."

On the prospect of same sex weddings

To Whom it may concern,

I am a Heterosexual male. I am engaged to be married to a Heterosexual female. I am a moderate politically, and consider myself Christian religiously. I was raised in a home that was conservative, both politically and religiously.

I am in favor of legalizing gay marriage.

I do not find the concept offensive to my beliefs, and even if it did grind against my personal moral code, it is not my right, nor is it the right of our government, to deny marriage to same sex couples.

This is a nation of differences, founded on the concept of freedom of religion and the freedom of belief.

Forcing the conservative idea of "Marriage is one man and one woman" onto the entire nation is little different than forcing all restaurants to serve only kosher food, or requiring women to cover their faces in public. It is a belief founded on the conservative views of a number of religions, but not necessarily the majority of Americans.

Gay marriage neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg.

I know there are many people who are violently disgusted by the sight of two men holding hands. I am equally offended by people who hold up signs claiming that gays are going to Hell, but I, as an American do not try to stop them. It is their right to state their beliefs, no matter how offensive I find them.

It is their right to live their life the way they want, and that applies to heterosexuals and homosexuals alike.
